Ben, he the Man
Since I've already posted to honor my 30-day contract (damn! no signing bonus) with NaBloPoMo, this post is a freebie.
Freebie, yes, but also a necessity.
In this day, when everyone is pumping or pounding or artificially inflating their chest, it is refreshing to go back in the day when lifespans were shorter and thereby so was the opportunity for rooster-chesting.
Isoglossia, another NaBloPoMo signer, points out the interesting and, may I say, heretofore never examined history of Benjamin Franklin. Or, as noted by Mr. Sgazzetti, "Benjamin Harrison Fordham Pierce Franklin, née Eleanor Barkley Braxis".
