Stephenesque, I'm pleasantly surprisingly stunned. From previous postings at your Chateau du Blague, I'd gotten the (perhaps incorrect) perception that there was nobody at the New Yorker who was good. The fact that Kaplan is the only funny caroonist has to do with his being in the Land of the Lotus Eaters.
